Пояснение: Что это за странный мир? Земля. На переднем плане представленного изображения — Пиннаклы, необычные скальные шпили в национальном парке Намбунг в Западной Австралии. Сделанные из древних морских раковин (известняка), как образовались эти живописные шпили в человеческий рост, остается неизвестным. На заднем плане, сразу за центральной вершиной, виден яркий полумесяц. Жутковатое свечение вокруг Луны — это в основном зодиакальный свет, солнечный свет, отраженный пылинками, вращающимися между планетами Солнечной системы. На вершине находится центральная полоса нашей галактики Млечный Путь. На заднем плане ночного неба также видны многие известные звезды и туманности. Представленная панорама из 29 панелей была сделана в сентябре 2015 года после детального планирования, в котором учитывались Луна, скальные шпили и соответствующие им тени. Несмотря на это, яркий зодиакальный свет стал приятным сюрпризом.
